Palmbeach VaiSITIA – The Region

Sitia is located at the eastern side of Crete, at one of the most magnificent corners of Mediterranean Sea.

It is a hospitable place with gorgeous beaches and a history of many centuries. Monuments scattered around travel us deeply into ancient fabulous ages, as Minoan palace of  Kato Zakros.
It is a fascinating area where the visitor comes upon special sights as the marvellous Byzantine monastery of Toploou, the ancient town Itanos –deep in the bottom of sea- and the unique, self-sown palm forest of Mediterranean, Vai.

Rich and pure is the nature of district of Sitia.
